Born in Chicago but raised in the south suburb of Lansing, I've also lived in several Northwest Indiana communities such as Munster, Hammond and Crown Point over the years. In 2004, I decided to obtain a real estate license and found I really enjoyed the opportunity it provides for working directly with individuals and the challenge of constantly trying to improve the quality of service for your clients.

When first starting out in real estate, I considered being a home inspector and completed my training for home inspection at ITA, (Inspection Training Association), in Illinois but decided on real estate service and sales as my main focus. I still enjoy doing inspections as a service for my listings and continue to strive to learn more about the technical aspects of home maintenance and construction. I also do property management and find my home inspection background is essential for assisting tenants with maintenance and repair issues on their homes.

Although I am flexible with fees and service. My standard listing fee in $1850 which includes, an open house, professional flyers, a web site for your home and several enhanced items as well. If I represent the buyer in the sale of your home, I charge an additional $750. This is a huge savings for home owners who have paid 6% or even as high as 7% of the sales price of their home in the past. 7% for a $250,000 home is $17,500 as compared to my full-service, total fee of $2,600!

In the beginning of 2008, I started my own independent, real estate brokerage, Northwest Indiana Homes Realty. I have continued to work as an independent broker out of a home office since that time. This allows me a lot of flexibility in fees I charge and services which I can provide. Every full-service listing gets a pre-listing inspection, advice for staging and repairs, and lots of open house signage. (if allowed by the local community)

Since my technical background includes marketing and the selling and service of sign systems, I am able to provide a higher level of marketing and a greater amount of signage for my customers. I print all my own signage which allows customization for each individual home.
